What do car bombs, mafia wars, Roman emperors, Ben Franklin and Harvard University have in common? The lottery business. Watch this video to learn more about it. Last month I was invited to address the Los Angeles group called METAL (Media, Entertainment, Technology, Art Leaders). It’s a cool group of people, mostly local entrepreneurs and business pioneers, and I’ve given several talks there previously. This time I thought it would be fun to tell them about my recent work in the lottery industry. As I prepared for the talk, I discovered that the history of the lottery is quite rich and very interesting, and it strangely intersects with my own personal family history. This is the story of my adventures in the Lottery Trade. Enjoy!
