In this episode of How I Got In, we talk to student Eric Iwashita about his journey to the prestigious Stanford University.

Consistently ranked among the top universities in the nation, Stanford is located just outside of San Francisco. It’s well known for its engineering and research programs — and as the place where Larry Page and Sergey Brin first met, and came up with the idea to create their company…Google. In fact, Stanford is known as kind of a mecca for technology and tech startups, with many companies being started at Stanford and going on to great success.

Of course with this kind of a high profile, Stanford is a very competitive school to get into. In fact, it’s one of the most selective schools in the U.S.

Watch this episode to hear Eric tell the story of how he got into Stanford…and what advice he gives to students who are applying to get in!
