Faculty Forum Online: A Conversation with Noam Chomsky

Institute Professor Emeritus Noam Chomsky, a prolific author, political activist, and philosopher, is one of MIT’s greatest scientists. He created the field of modern linguistics—the scientific study of language—and his political commentaries have sparked controversy and conversation for more than 50 years.

In this January 2015 Faculty Forum Online webcast, Chomsky discussed his career, answered live questions, and discussed the Chomsky Archive, an MIT Libraries project to preserve and digitize the lectures, personal papers, and materials he has donated to MIT.

How do we contact Dr. Chomsky. ?
Hes 86 or 87 yrs old now.. Hes sure having a good run.. We hope hes healthy and feels good mentally. He still sounds clear but a tiny bit slower speaking. Maybe 10%. Imagine how much hes changed the world? Manufacturing consent we bought the download and saw the movie ages ago in the theatre.

Wed like to give Noam any photos he likes that he sees on our channel. Ie) screen capture and print if he wants. We have some of the best bee and geese photos and images. Dogs, cats, sun, moon etc.. We are a non profit channel. Animal activists too. Trying To get cats and dogs more respect.

Dr. Chomsky reminds us of our Grandpa. 👍

    We love this man!💐🌹🍺👽👽🇨🇦

We will sub if we hear back on our channel.

Ask Noam a song he likes and wed 🐝 honoured to make him a dedication video

Chomsky tells how things gone blind wrong put us in such dire situation. His showing how some stuff has been fixed lends hope. I generally detest Christianity, but my humble appreciation is saying: he has more Jesus in him than anybody.
