State Senator L. Scott Frantz is half way through his fourth term in the General Assembly where he represents the 36th District, which includes the communities of Greenwich, New Canaan and Stamford.
Senator Frantz was named Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate Republican Caucus, the Ranking member of the Commerce and Finance Committees. In addition, Senator Frantz serves on the Transportation and Legislative Management Committees.
Senator Frantz is a business entrepreneur, now serving as the president and chairman of Haebler Capital, a private investment capital firm based in Greenwich. Frantz is also known as a prominent fundraiser for Republican candidates, including serving as the host for a 2006 Republican event featuring President George W. Bush.
He attended The Hotchkiss School, and is a 1982 graduate of Princeton University and a 1986 graduate of Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. He lives in Riverside with his wife and their four children.
