Telematics and transport technology provider Microlise is to launch a new version of its powerful e-learning Knowledge Portal this summer. It will allow customers to create their own customised online courses and training campaigns.
Available to all Microlise end-users, the new Knowledge Portal will bring an ever increasing content library giving customers the option to create their own online courses from available Microlise content including videos, presentations, knowledge base article and more.
In addition to Microlise content, the Course Builder will allow customers to upload their own training content, giving the ability to create customised courses and training campaigns. This means customers will be able to proactively target training to specific users and deliver multiple types of training content, straight to users’ desktops, mobiles or tablets while monitoring engagement.
“We know that knowledge is empowering, and that if we give our customers the means to effectively skill-up their teams, they’ll get even better results from our technology,” said Matthew Hague, Executive Director – Product Strategy at Microlise. “That’s a win-win for both ourselves and customers and that’s why we continue to dedicate significant resources to the development of our powerful e-learning platform.”
The new functionality compliments existing core features such as knowledge base articles, glossary, document library and user guide creator, which are already supporting customers using Microlise products and services.
The Knowledge Portal will also be upgraded with a new look and feel offering simpler navigation and a refreshed solution library, giving access to the latest product information and release notes following each product development cycle.
There are also even more ways to interact and share content alongside upgraded search, document library, user guide creator and glossary which have all been improved to provide an intuitive user experience.
“We are focussed on delivering a full service offering, providing the support and tools to ensure a fast and effective return on investment for our customers. The Knowledge Portal is a central facet of our service wrap which also includes on-site training, change management consultancy, programme management and 24/7 customer support,” said Nadeem Raza, Microlise Chief Executive Officer.
Existing Microlise users will be able to access the all new Microlise Knowledge Portal later this summer with existing login credentials at help.microlise.com/.
